Hello everyone! It has been a long time since I posted any journal entry. Some of you might be aware of the AI situation on deviantArt which has only gotten worse over the last months. I hoped the uproar and the ongoing legal actions would at least stop deviantArt from going down that AI spiral any further but I was wrong. Instead the team tries to silence those who try to oppose it. For me, the final straw was a post on the official deviantArt X account where they promoted an AI artist as one of their "top-selling artist" on dA. The backlash was immense and instead of listening to the comments they tried to hide them: https://twitter.com/DeviantArt/status/1769476314921148662 It is obvious that deviantArt has no or only very little interest in doing something good for actual artists now. It is a sad thing to experience since I have been using this site for 17 years at this point and considered it to be THE spot for both professional as well as hobby artists to share their work
